Maria A. Perez earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University in 2017, where she developed a deep understanding of the complexity of human behavior and social systems. In 2022, Ms. Perez graduated with a Juris Doctor degree from Drexel University, Thomas R. Kline School of Law. During law school, she demonstrated a commitment to immigration law by participating in the Federal Litigation Appeals Clinic, where she provided pro bono legal services to low-income individuals seeking immigration reliefs, such as U-Visa, T-Visa, Family-based petitions, and Special Immigration Juvenile Status. 

Upon completing law school, Maria began her legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Lawrence Maron, J.S.C., in the Family Division and completed a one-year term where she was exposed to various matrimonial matters such as divorce, alimony, pendente lite support, child support, and child custody issues.

Maria is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey.
