David Trombadore’s legal experience has covered many areas of practice, including civil litigation, family law, trusts and estates, business transactions and disputes, and land use.  He is a Supreme Court certified family mediator.  Mr. Trombadore is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York, Colorado, and California, and he has practiced in each.  He is licensed to practice before the District Court of New Jersey, the District Court of Colorado, and the Central District Court of California.  

Mr. Trombadore began his career in New York City working for a midtown firm in Manhattan.  After two years, he moved to Colorado and worked in the Denver office of Morrison & Foerster.  In several years at Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Trombadore worked on complex litigation matters in the firm’s Denver, Los Angeles, and Tokyo offices.  Mr. Trombadore left the Morrison firm to work with his father, Raymond Trombadore, in Somerville, New Jersey.  He took over the practice upon his father’s death.

Mr. Trombadore has been heavily involved in the local and state bar associations.  He is a past president of the Somerset County Bar Association, past chair of the District XIII Ethics Committee, past chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Judicial Administration Committee and Appellate Practice Committee.  Mr. Trombadore also was the Somerset County representative to the NJSBA’s Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee for six years.

Mr. Trombadore received his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University with high honors.  He worked for a year as a research associate at the International Institute for Labor Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.  He received attribution from a permanent member of the Institute for his contributions to a major publication.  Mr. Trombadore then attended and graduated from Cornell Law School, where he was a member of the Board of Editors of the International Law Journal.

Mr. Trombadore enjoys spending time with his family.  He has five children, three of whom – Gianna, Patrick, and Michael – are grown and live in Colorado and Edinburgh, Scotland.  He especially enjoys Saturday “Movie Night”, taking his son Ethan fishing at first light on Saturday mornings, listening to his son Raymond play the piano, and taking walks with his wife Suzanne.
